Well, I made it through another family trip. It was insane, as always. My siblings were on my nerves. We went off course a couple of times, and then there was that weird incident at joke travel sweatshirts a gas station.
I'm fried, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. We have some crazy memories.

My laptop is officially silenced/turned off/put away. Emails can chill until I get back. Social media can keep spinning. If you need me, leave a message on my answering machine/in a bottle/with the voicemail fairies. Otherwise, consider this your official notification/warning/reminder: I'm out of office/gone fishin'/living my best life and will be back whenever I feel like it.

Sometimes, the best/ideal/perfect escape isn't a place/location/spot at all. It's a state of mind/feeling/perception.
